For 2025 JoKi One gives you

25 will be the 17th presentation of the children's band. Each edition has been based on a colour, as a direct result of my daughter's love for pink. That first presentation was aptly named Ilori Loves Pink. A pattern quickly developed, each year I would ask, ' What colour are we doing this year?", well we have covered the rainbow and then some.

The focus colour for 2025's presentation 25 is silver as the universally accepted representative colour for a 25th anniversary.

25 ... Let's Count It

This section features the abacus, this style counting tool originated in China many centuries ago and has been widely used in many parts of the world even up to today to teach children to count and do math calculations.

The wear is traditional Hanfu Chinese style. It comprises of 2 pieces and may also use a belt,it is worn by both male and female.

25... Let's Celebrate It

Achieving 25 years either of life or as an anniversary deserves a celebration! So let's bring out the fire works. These low explosive polytechnic devices have become increasingly popular outdoor displays for celebrations. Just make sure to be safe with it!

25 ... In roman Numerals

Writing numbers in the Roman style was quite popular until quite recently. The system uses letters to depict numbers. The number 10 is X, the number 5 is V which makes 25 XXV.

To complete the portrayal most effectively this section is dressed in ancient Roman warrior wear of the period when the Roman empire spread over a vast portion of the world.

25 ... On A Coin

The 25 cent piece of Trinidad and Tobago is beautifully adorned with the double Chaconia, the country's national flower, it is flaming red just like the dominant colour of our flag. The peak time for flowering of this indigenous plant is around our independence on August 31st.

On the periodic table, 25 is the element manganese, it is used widely as an additive for strength, workability, pigmentation, anti-corrosion also to decolorize glass and to make it purple.
